Celebrating Aurum Home Care's Third Anniversary

This summer marks a very special milestone for everyone at Aurum Home Care as we celebrate three wonderful years of caring for islanders and supporting families across Jersey.

When Aurum Home Care opened its doors in 2023, we had a simple vision: to provide exceptional home care that allowed people to remain safe, independent and happy in the comfort of their own homes. We believed that every individual deserved to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion, and that families should have complete confidence in the people caring for their loved ones.

Three years later, that vision remains at the heart of everything we do.

As we reflect on our journey, we are filled with gratitude. Gratitude for the clients who have welcomed us into their homes, for the families who have trusted us during some of life's most important moments, and for the incredible team members who bring warmth, professionalism and kindness to their work every single day.

More Than Care

Over the last three years, Aurum has grown significantly. What began as a small, family-led organisation has evolved into a trusted and respected home care provider supporting people with a wide range of needs throughout Jersey.

Along the way, we have expanded our services, welcomed new colleagues, invested heavily in training and professional development, and established ourselves as a provider committed to delivering the highest standards of care.

Yet growth has never been our primary goal.

Our goal has always been to make a meaningful difference to people's lives.

Every visit, every conversation, every act of support matters. Whether helping someone start their day with confidence, supporting a family through a challenging time, providing specialist dementia care, or simply sharing a cup of tea and a friendly chat, these moments are what define Aurum.

Home Care with Heart

One of the things we are most proud of is the relationships we have built.

Many of our clients have become part of the wider Aurum family. We have celebrated birthdays together, shared stories, laughed, cried and supported one another through life's ups and downs.

Home care is about far more than practical support. It is about companionship, connection and helping people maintain the quality of life they deserve.

Every member of Team Aurum understands that providing excellent care starts with treating people as individuals. We take time to listen, understand personal preferences, and ensure every care plan reflects the unique needs of the person at its centre.

Investing in Our Team

Behind every successful care service is a dedicated team.

Over the last three years, we have invested significantly in training, development and creating opportunities for our staff to grow professionally. From medication administration and safeguarding to dementia awareness and specialist care training, our team continually develops their knowledge and skills to provide the safest and highest quality care possible.

We are proud to have seen colleagues progress into leadership roles, build rewarding careers and become ambassadors for the values that make Aurum special.

Their commitment, compassion and professionalism are the reason we have been able to achieve so much.

Looking Ahead

While we are incredibly proud of what has been achieved over the last three years, we believe the best is still to come.

As Jersey's population continues to age and more people choose to remain in their own homes for longer, the need for high-quality home care has never been greater.

We remain committed to growing responsibly, investing in our people, embracing innovation and continuing to provide the gold standard of care that our name represents.
