International Women's Day 2025 - Women in Leadership

There is a commonly held assumption that people who work in care, and particularly home care, are women. We are delighted to have a diverse workforce at Aurum Home Care in Jersey.
Our team is recruited from multiple backgrounds with a range of experience and skills and yes, that includes men.
That said, we do support the theme of this year's International Women's Day which is #AccelerateAction for gender equality. We strongly believe that with the right action and support, positive progress can be made for women everywhere.
It is true to say the senior leadership team at Aurum Home Care is majority female. Having women in leadership is a fact we are hugely proud of. We are also fully female owned by a mother and daughter team who went into business together knowing their personal bond would lend a strong dynamic in the local home care sector.
When asked to comment on #IWD2025 our Director and Registered Care Manager Lynda Febers said, 'It's lovely to work with a diverse group of females. Everyone on the team brings unique qualities and we celebrate that in our actions by supporting each other on a daily basis and building each other up on a professional and personal level.'
